What a dunce I have been?
Building a wall around me and calling it hallowed
Limiting my consciousness when it could expand far and wide
Training my eyes to look for the obvious, to look skin deep
When it could see worlds beyond this
Why turn to ethereal pleasures, when their destinies lie in smoke
Why force the spirit to ignore what it revels in
Why stop the heart from beating for the beloved
And allow the poisons of ego to trickle
Peer pressure says thou, soul stench says me!

Control spoils it, live in abandon. Very candid & beautiful!
